Geoffrion played in Game 2 of the Admirals’ first-round AHL playoff series against the Chicago. The Wolves beat Geoffrion and Milwaukee 3-0.
Recently named winner of the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey’s top player, Geoffrion still doesn’t have a contract with the Predators organization, which drafted him in 2006. But the ATO allows him to play for Milwaukee during the playoffs.
Predators general manager David Poile said negotiations with Geoffrion’s agent are ongoing. Poile, along with a few other members of the Nashville front office, plan to drive from Chicago to Milwaukee on Saturday night to watch Geoffrion and the Admirals in Game 3 of the series.
