Just how valuable will Jimmer Fredette’s partnership with Octagon be? Well, it’s not every day that a prospect prepares to enter the NBA Draft having already had his name turned into a verb, as sports fans and announcers reveled in claiming he “jimmered” opposing teams whenever he racked up impressive point totals during and leading up to the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Fredette’s long-term marketability, however, can’t rely solely on collegiate achievements. It remains to be seen if any team is willing to make him a lottery pick or if teams will let him slide farther down because they don’t think his skills will translate well enough to the pro style that he can remain a scoring machine. Also, summer league games and position battles on whichever team he lands will go a long way in deciding if Jimmer Fredette jimmers anybody in the pros or just becomes a faded part of college basketball lore.

One Response to Jimmer Fredette Chooses Octagon for NBA Agent
  1. Albany NY USA Jimmer was run out of NBA because he is white and spend the rest 4 years in college and live in Glen Falls. IF YOU WANT TO GROW the basketball around here he should have been treated a lot better than what he got. Also wasn’t allowed to play with the USA Basketball.
