During the on-field activities, Carroll will be taking photos and signing his new book, “Win Forever.” This year’s NFL 101 will also include a wide array of activities like the NFL 101 Skills Challenge (catch passes from an NFL quarterback, throwing competition and field goal-kicking challenge) and an NFL equipment demonstration and locker room tour that includes official uniform displays for all 32 NFL teams. The San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers will also be hosting FanFests on the field.
Also featured at NFL 101 will be a tent celebrating the wildly successful and Academy Award-nominated football film “The Blind Side.” There will be an opportunity for guests to have their photo taken to look like part of the cast, and there will also be a chance to meet the director and screenwriter of the film, John Lee Hancock. After a cocktail reception and Wolfgang Puck catered dinner, guests will enjoy a preview of the upcoming season from current and former NFL players, coaches and sports agents.

Businessman and Weingart Foundation Chairman Steve Soboroff will be presented with the LASEC Community Sportsman of the Year Award. The award was established to honor an individual who continually contributes to our community. Soboroff will be recognized for his outstanding contributions to the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) in helping the Commission attract major sporting and entertainment events to Los Angeles that positively impact the local economy.
Sponsors and ticket buyers include men and women in the business, entertainment and sports industries, along with the media. Several levels of participation are available and individual tickets are on sale for $500 each.
