This year’s NFL 101 will include a wide array of activities including the NFL 101 Skills Challenge (catch passes from an NFL quarterback, throwing competition and field goal kicking challenge), an NFL equipment demonstration and locker room tour that includes official uniform displays for all 32 NFL teams. The San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers will also be hosting FanFests on the field. After a cocktail reception and Wolfgang Puck catered dinner, guests will enjoy a preview of the upcoming season from current and former NFL players, coaches and sports agents.

Businessman and Weingart Foundation Chairman Steve Soboroff will be presented with the LASEC Community Sportsman of the Year Award. The award was established to honor an individual who continually contributes to our community. Soboroff will be recognized for his outstanding contributions to the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) in helping the Commission attract major sporting and entertainment events to Los Angeles that positively impact the local economy.
Sponsors and ticket buyers include men and women in the business, entertainment and sports industries, along with the media. Several levels of participation are available and individual tickets are on sale for $500 each.
LASEC is the official organization for the City of Los Angeles to seek, host, promote, and retain major sporting entertainment events that positively impact the local economy by attracting visitors to the city, giving them a reason to stay longer and return more frequently.
